Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, (CCSQ) Coverage and Analysis Group (CAG). As a Supervisory Physician (CAG Director), GP-0602-15, you will function as the principal medical authority for the Agency on matters of Medicare coverage policy, clinical evidence standards, and health technology assessment. Responsibilities Provide executive medical and scientific leadership for CAG (Coverage and Analysis Group). Oversee divisions, directors, workforce, and resources. Lead major coverage policies, regulations, and legislative analyses. Represent CMS externally while building partnerships across agencies, medical societies, academia, industry, and patient groups.
