Position Overview
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead improvements in global area supply chain performance in support of business needs.; Areas of improvement include on-time delivery, quality, cost initiatives, and parts/assembly issues within the company. Use appropriate tools and processes including, but should not be limited to the following: Lean Techniques, Six Sigma Tools Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Studies, Process Mapping, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Repeatability and Reproducibility Calibration Analysis (Gage R&R). Manage projects to closure, using quality assurance associates, engineering, and Procurement as needed across the enterprise. Conduct supplier training on the use of Lean Manufacturing requirements, Six Sigma. and the Global Supplier Quality Manual.Track and monitor supplier performance metrics in the respective global areaConduct project debriefs for senior management. <...
