Position Overview

  • Work closely with the Newbuilding Commercial Team to support procurement planning and coordination for assigned shipbuilding projects.
  • Establish procurement schedules aligned with project timelines and shipyard requirements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (engineering, project management, and finance) to ensure specifications, budgets, and delivery needs are met.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for ship equipment, systems, and parts.
  • Obtain, review, and negotiate quotations to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
  • Manage purchase order (PO) creation, approval, and issuance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations in all procurement transactions.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with project and company requirements.
