About theunit

1 South is an acute care surgical short stay unit caring fororthopaedic, plastic surgery, generalsurgeryand gynecological surgical patients. Patients are transferred after Phase II PACU and continue their recovery and discharged eithersameday or POD #1. Patients requiring a blood transfusion are also cared for on this unit.
