Job Description
Executes the maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment used in operating room.

Job Responsibility

+ Maintains surgical implants and supply par levels; places purchase orders for required surgical implants and supplies; receives surgical supply deliveries.
+ Verifies accuracy of deliveries with purchase orders on file.
+ Transports and stores items in appropriate locations.
+ Enters implant tracking serial numbers into department computer system.
+ Assists in reviewing daily case schedule and pick lists and prepares case carts accordingly.
+ Enters each patient's surgical supply profile in department computer system.
+ Captures and records surgical supply charges for all surgical cases.
+ Identifies and corrects implant and supply discrepancies, as needed.
+ Maintains constant communication with Purchasing, Materials Management, and related departments.
