Department: EVMC Surgery

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Monday - Friday, Days, 4 x 10s, Rotating Shifts. The day off varies each week. Each person takes at least 10 days of call per month.

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Demonstrates skills needed to perform as a proficient certified surgical technologist.

Responsibilities:
Performs first scrub role independently in multiple service lines. Ability to scrub core and specialty procedures. Reacts professionally to unexpected changes.

Understands and uses instrumentation and equipment properly and works with service specialist to improve surgeon preference cards.

Able to precept other staff in the scrub role.
