Job Description
The Survey Technician supports heavy civil construction projects by performing precise surveying, layout, and data management in fast-paced field environments. This role focuses on civil construction methods, utility installation, roadway construction, earthwork operations, and grade control, while leveraging modern machine control platforms and survey software to ensure accurate site work and efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities

+ Perform construction surveying and layout for heavy civil projects ranging from approximately $300,000 to $30 million in value.

+ Apply knowledge of civil construction methods, utility installation, roadway construction, earthwork operations, and grade control to daily field work.

+ Operate and support machine control platforms, including Trimble, Topcon, and Leica, to guide equipment and ensure accurate site work.
