Position Summary:
This role is responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction tailored to individuals’ needs and abilities that are participating in private or small group lessons.
Primary Duties:
Lead individual and group learn to swim lessons for members and guests.Teach within the standards and guidelines of swim instructor certification.Understand individual abilities to deliver lessons in a safe and effective manor to all levels of physical ability.Ability to assess individual needs through evaluation of strength and proficiency in the water.Maintain required certifications in good standing and complete any required continuing education.Ability to be flexible and accommodating to meet Wellness Center hours and member needs.Must meet and maintain all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.Complete knowledg...
