This role combines Switchboard and Helpdesk responsibilities to provide vital operational and emergency support across Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

The postholder will ensure all internal and external calls are handled efficiently, directing callers to the appropriate departments while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

They will play a key role in emergency response procedures, including managing crash calls, issuing urgent alerts, and supporting the Trust’s Major Incident response (e.g. fire procedures, chemical spills, or hospital-wide incidents).
