Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from unload and load doors and throughout the yard.
• Physically load, unload and/or sort packages by hand, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and placing in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize hand‑to‑surface methods for all package handling.
• Load and unload packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, conveyor system carts and load gratings.
• Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis during shifts of two to four hours.
• Determine the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information, then sorting packages accordingly.
• Perform other assigned duties and tasks as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
