PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To perform all responsibilities in order to ensure that the needs of students receiving special education services are being met in compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish and maintain audit files to current status, and protect the confidentiality of all Special Education records.Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings, manifestation, FBA/BSP, revision meetings, and transitions from outside placements, and any other necessary meetings.Work in partnership with case managers and school staff to coordinate meetings and provision of services.Foster family engagement in the IEP process and provide support to families with questions/concerns about special education eligibility and services.Collaborate with psychologist to review new referrals and triennial evaluations, permission to evaluate, and meeting schedules.Coordinate rela...
