**Job Description:** The Synthetic Flight Instructor is responsible to instruct airline crew converting to Airbus aircraft on all operational, technical and performance aspects for a specific type (or types). The Instructor is also responsible to assist the Head of Training (HOT) with other training related duties when assigned.

• Instruct airline crew converting to Airbus aircraft on all operational and technical aspects for a specific type (or types) using Flight Training Devices, Fixed Base Simulators, Full Flight Simulators, in order to ensure their capability to carry out safely and correctly all normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities.
• Conduct theoretical training for type-rating courses, flight operations courses and aircraft performance.
• Adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardisation as required by Flight Development and Flight Standardization & Policy.
