POSTION SUMMARY: The Systems Analyst is responsible for optimizing the use of information technology to support operations, assisting in the management of information technology applications including upgrades, interfaces and for user support for supported applications.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Computer Science, Health Informatics or equivalent degree/ work related experience

Extensive application support skills including database management, word processing, spreadsheets and report generation

Experience in interfacing application. HL7 protocol preferred.

SQL and ORACLE (scripting, queries, report generation) skills an asset

Results oriented and able to work effectively in a fast paced environment

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience developing real-time interfaces as asset

Extensive experience developing and executing detailed data conversion plans
