We are seeking a full-time Aircraft Systems Engineer 2 for our locations in New Century, KS or Wichita, KS. In this role, you will lead the aircraft system safety assessment process to ensure compliance with safety standards. You will collaborate with system safety analysts to develop documentation, perform qualitative analysis, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and risk/common cause analyses necessary for certifying STC installations.
Responsibilities

+ Generate Functional Hazard Analysis and perform qualitative analysis, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and particular risk/common cause analyses to certify STC installations.

+ Interface with Hardware, Software, and EMC groups to ensure appropriate design assurance levels.

+ Approve test plans, reports, and other data supporting the system safety assessment process.
