This role, on a 2-month contract with a local authority, is situated within the Housing Advice, Information, and Assessment Service. It aims to deliver a proactive, holistic, personalized, and integrated Housing Advice and Support service. The primary objective is to prevent and relieve homelessness while supporting service users to live independently.
Responsibilities
Provide advice on security of tenure, possession proceedings, housing rights following relationship breakdown, welfare and housing benefits, tax credits, debt counseling, housing options, employment and training opportunities, and long-term accommodation options.
