Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80, to $90, per year.
Job responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly and annual tax calculations and support financial reporting related to income taxes.
Assist with preparation of federal and state tax filings for corporate and partnership entities.
Calculate estimated tax payments and support extension filings as needed.
Prepare and review non income tax filings, including sales, use, and property related returns.
Research tax issues, respond to notices, and assist with audit support activities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
