Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join a boutique accounting firm in Los Angeles, California on a Contract basis. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who enjoys handling a broad mix of tax and accounting work while collaborating closely with firm leadership. The role offers exposure to individual and business tax matters, along with financial statement support for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high level of accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Work closely with firm leadership to manage tax engagements from initial document review through final filing.
• Use Lacerte Tax Software to complete returns and maintain organized tax workpapers.
• Perform bookkeeping-related tasks and assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
