Qualifications and Experience
Master's degree in d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from an accredited program.Must be a member or be eligible to be a member of the Canadian Association of Educators of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH).Experience working with children who are d/Deaf and hard of hearing, with preference given to applicants with knowledge of cochlear implants.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with professionals, families, and community teams.Confident to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.Able to travel throughout British Columbia.Demonstrate advanced competencies in report writing and assessments.Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle.Proficient or learning American Sign Language.
