Qualified Teaching Assistant Needed in the Chester area.

Have you had previous experience working on a 1:1 basis with pupils and have a Level 2 or higher qualification? Do you enjoy working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis? Are you a Teaching Assistant searching for a new opportunity in highly reputable ALN settings? Experience working with young people with ALN is desirable.

Duties for this post will include:

• Previous experience working with ALN pupils on a 1:1 or group bases
• Possess a good understanding of each learning, physical or sensory needs and how the needs may range and differ from each other. Examples of each need may include, ASD, challenging behaviour, complex medical needs
• Work with individuals and groups of pupils in class with ALN, under direction of the class teacher and/or ALNCo
• Provide support in a manner which facilitates the pupils' cognitive development, by removing barriers to learning
