About us

Medical Health Services for Older Adults (MHSOA) provides a comprehensive service to people over the age of 65 years and comprises an inpatient facility and community mental health teams covering the North Shore, Rodney District and West Auckland. MHSOA provides assessment, treatment and support to service users who have: psychiatric disorders, dementia with behavioural and psychological complications, psychiatric complications of a physical illness associated with ageing. The MHSOA team is part of the Division of Specialist Mental Health & Addiction services.
