The role

You’ll own the technical direction and lead the engineering team through a real modernization effort. The platform has a mature codebase and a large installed base, with many clients running customized on‑premise environments. This isn’t an clean‑slate rewrite. It’s an incremental transformation that has to keep things running while moving the architecture toward something modern and cloud‑ready.

What you’ll do

• Assess the current architecture and build a realistic modernization roadmap, prioritizing changes that deliver value without disrupting existing clients.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team. Set technical standards and build a culture where people take ownership of quality.
• Bring in automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, and observability. Lay the groundwork for faster, more reliable releases.
