Drive Green Hydrogen Coordination in the Eastern Cape

GIZ is seeking a Technical Advisor: Private Sector & Finance to be seconded to the Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT) as the Eastern Cape Green Hydrogen Coordinator.

This role forms part of the H2.SA II / Battery Value Chains - Promoting a Green Hydrogen Economy in South Africa programme, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union.

This position will support provincial coordination, stakeholder engagement and project‑enabling activities linked to the development of the green hydrogen and Power-to-X sector in the Eastern Cape, including initiatives connected to the Three Capes Green Hydrogen Corridor.
