About the Role

SPT is now seeking to recruit a Technical Craftsperson - Line. As a member of our multi-skilled technician team, you will carry out diagnostics repairs, and planned maintenance across a range of electrical equipment including signalling equipment, communication equipment and control systems to support the on-going delivery of the Subway modernisation and maintenance. You will also work on platform screen doors, groundwater pumping stations and the traction power distribution system - we operate and maintain our own electrical substations. This is an excellent opportunity to play an important role in the efficient running of the Subway whilst developing and broadening your own technical skills and experience in line with our ongoing modernisation activity and introduction of new assets.
