JOB – Technical Manager

LOCATION – Newport

My client is looking for a Technical Manager to join their Project Services department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design function and supporting business development teams through the delivery of practical and buildable technical solutions.

The Technical Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
• Previous experience working within a technical role, ideally within a construction or technical engineering environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and written abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to targets
• Understanding of AUTOCAD and SolidWorks software packages
• Product or industry knowledge would be advantageous
