Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate cost estimates from technical drawings

  • Create labour/material costings and routing information

  • Liaise with suppliers and manage sub-contract requirements

  • Prepare and input full quotations for customers

  • Handle enquiries, provide technical support, and resolve queries

  • Work closely with internal teams to keep projects on track

    • What We’re Looking For:

  • Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication or engineering

  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and RFQs

  • Confident discussing technical requirements / solutions with customers both face to face and over the phone.

  • Experience in estimating, technical sales, or account management.

  • Previously achieved circa 1 million in direct sales per year.

  • Ideally experienced mentoring or managing a small team of estimators
