**Job Description**

Patients with life-threatening conditions come to the Institute for Critical Care Medicine (ICCM) at Mount Sinai in their greatest hour of need. Our team of intensive care doctors, nurses, and support staff is always available to perform life-saving measures for patients who require the most critical care possible.


The Technical Specialist performs preventative maintenance for ICU equipment/technology. Troubleshoots, adjusts, and calibrates medical equipment. Initiate ordering process for new equipment / quote inquires. Remains up to date on device warranty.


The Technical Specialist is responsible for the coordination of technology based on the needs of the department. S/he may participate in department I.T. needs planning, including purchasing, testing and implementation.
