Responsible for providing technical support to vessels assigned to enable reliable and efficient operation. For the vessels assigned under direct charge, the technical superintendent is accountable for:

• Operate and maintain the ship marine equipment in a safe, economic, and efficient way in accordance with customer contract /Charter Party, within approved budgets, to the satisfaction of both owners and their clients.
• Maintenance, operational performance, and reliability, of all equipment and machinery on the vessel.
• Approval of purchases in accordance with Company Authority Matrix.
• Effective rectifications/closures to maintenance related nonconformities and deficiencies.
• Overall performance of the vessel.
