POSITION TITLE: Technical Theatre Teacher and Auditorium Manager



QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Arkansas Teaching Certification in Drama/Speech or Approval from ADE.



REPORTS TO: Building Principal



JOB GOAL: To develop in each pupil skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing that are fundamental to good oral communication; to develop standards for critical judgment of written and oral communication transmitted by mass media; to discover and develop special talents of pupils in the field of drama and theatre.



PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Hold individual or group combined rehearsals and practices outside the regular school hours.

+ Plan and supervise practices that are consistent with the following areas of performance: full length plays and readers theater, one act plays, oral interpretation of poetry and oral interpretation of press, duet acting, solo acting, radio and television performance...
