:Reporting to the Environment Supervisor, you will be a part of the Environment Department and collaborate with other departments of the mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Oversee the implementation of inspections and audits of the site environmental management system (EMS) and report non-compliances;
Carryout tasks required to maintain compliance with environmental regulations, including compliance inspections, compliance sampling, environmental monitoring, and worker education;
Coordinate with operations staff to ensure environmental management plans are followed;
Maintain and calibrate environmental monitoring equipment;
Compile environmental monitoring data for regulatory reporting requirements;
