Position Overview
Description -
Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment. Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems, , PolyWorks, Catia and D imaging software. Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures. Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events. Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting. Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s). Requirements: - Years Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA) Capable of using portable CMM equipment, Scanners, Laser Trackers. (FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform). Experience with D comparison softwares like PolyWorks, Cam , Scene, PC DMIS. Strong mechanical ability. Small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums. Strong Co...
