Overview

This Technician position is located in the Production Department at our Animal Health facility in Charlottetown, PEI. The facility manufactures vaccines and biologics used in aquaculture farming.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, buffers, and media components for production.
• Operate fermentation of bacteria, downstream processing of plasmid DNA, and blending of final vaccines prior to sterile filling.
• Maintain production schedules, work independently or as part of a team to ensure daily completion and adherence to schedules.
• Document work in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and apply basic problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent. A 2‑year college diploma in a science‑related discipline is an asset.
