This person will play an integral part in maintaining complex systems at the DIII-D National Fusion Facility in La Jolla, CA. The DIII-D Tokamak experiment is the largest operating fusion device in the U.S. Our team is leading cutting edge technology in support of this important DOE funded research program. This group is responsible for the operations and maintenance of several very high voltage (>1OOkV) and medium voltage (12.47kV, 48OV) power systems.
