Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician-Nursing Assistant I is a member of the patient care team who, under the supervision of the RN, assists physicians during operative and invasive procedures, provides direct patient care, and cleans and cares for endoscopes and other endoscopy equipment.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists physicians with endoscopic procedures under supervision of the registered nurse. Utilizes instruments during procedures. Assists with positioning of patient.
2. Assists with collection and preparation of endoscopy specimens. Transports specimens and equipment as needed.
3. Operates and cleans equipment used during procedures.
