Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding and is seeking an Engineering and Operations Technician to support our expanding Infrastructure Operations team in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment within the data center.
• Serve as a technical resource for Amazon’s data center operations.
• Ensure equipment that supports mission‑critical servers maintains better than 99.999% uptime.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical incidents that impact Amazon’s service availability.
• Implement innovative solutions to reduce operational costs.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education in an electrical or mechanical trade, or a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or construction engineering.
