Description:
Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician s orders, hospital policies and procedures; and departmental standards of care and standards of practice.
Responsibilities: - Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
- Evaluates patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action.
- Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
- Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
- Maintains records, reports, and other documentation related to the work.
RequirementDescription:
- 2+ years of RRT experience - [REQUIRED]
- Ventilator, Bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG trained therapist - [REQUIRED]
- ACLS - [PREFERRED]
