POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Behavioural Analyst assesses, designs and implements behavioural programs as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and provides leadership in building school-based and system capacity in the provision of effective supports to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and students presenting with challenging behaviour.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides expertise in the area of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles, strategies and methods. Develops and facilitates professional development training sessions to school-based and system staff as required to build capacity regarding ABA strategies and methods. Collaborates and coordinates with community agencies and behaviour therapists to support student transition to school.
