Position
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and in consultation with respective managers of departments, the incumbent “schedules” staff utilizing computer software in accordance with appropriate collective agreements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date confidential records of staff skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a record of employees’ availability.
- Prepare daily call‑in sheets for all shifts in an accurate and timely manner.
- Receive requests for staff replacements due to sickness, vacations, other leaves of absence, and/or additional staffing needs from department supervisors/managers.
- Call staff to fill available shifts in accordance with scheduling protocols and in compliance with the appropriate collective agreement.
- Complete record of staff’s acceptance/non‑acceptance of offered shifts.
