Position Overview

Job Description
Development of new textile reinforcement materials for ContiTech products, with focus on conveyor belts (worldwide)
Development of textile based composite technologies (reinforced rubber, plastics)
Definition of technical specifications and requirements
Support serial introduction of new technical textiles and products thereof, including smpling, lab testing/evaluation, manufacturing, product testing
Provide Materials science expertise, drive knowledge sharing, and support in problem-solving
Central R&D contact for ContiTech worldwide
Maintain our technology leadership, drive sustainability & innovation
Identify and implement optimization potentials 
Drive activities to improve and standardize procedures as a part of a lean and agile organization
Lead cross-functional projects
Close cooperation with Purchasing, Process Development, Product ...
