Job Duties & Responsibilities - Assist therapists in assessing patients' status for suitability to start therapy sessions or continue with therapy sessions.
- Assist therapists in carrying out treatment plans either individually or in a group setting.
- Communicate relevant information regarding therapy sessions timely, e.g. vital signs, symptoms.
- Educate clients on the use of therapeutic aids or assistive devices as prescribed by therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas, including inventories and equipment for the department.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
