Job Description

Primary Duties: The Tire Installer’s primary responsibility is to add value to each client’s transaction ensuring that they are satisfied with their experience buying at Western Auto and that upon leaving the store are completely satisfied with their purchase. Removes worn or defective tires and replaces them with new tires using the necessary tools and equipment.

1.Reads and comprehends training manuals, service tickets, etc.

2.Has basic knowledge about vehicles.

3.Checks basic elements of the vehicle’s tires according to Western Auto’s methods for tire and courtesy inspections.

4.Installs, replaces, and fixes tires and provides tire balancing services.

5.Uses knowledge of diagnostic equipment - tire installation machines and balancing, and tire repair equipment.
