Supply Chain Operations Overview

Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and evolving Service Business Unit. The department is responsible for planning, repair, certification and technical support for Service tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive tool demand from Service, adopt to PR, support team
• Respond promptly to turbines stopped while waiting for tools
• Keep the budget for tools in the country/subregion
• Minimize the tools reported as lost in the country/subregion
• Ensure tool certification engaging with stakeholders at different levels
• Organize tools certification (onsite or offsite) and ensure certificates are uploaded correctly
• Manage tool repair with vendors (ask for quotation, update PR's, etc) and warehouse
• Labelling all tools with next inspection date
• Document all material transfers in SAP
