Position Description
Uses basic technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment. Performs duties associated with the setup of a variety of production equipment to produce quality product.
Job Responsibilities
Tooling Specialization: Focuses exclusively on the troubleshooting and repair of stamping and casting dies to ensure production quality.Machinist Equipment Operation: Learns to set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine shop equipment (such as mills, lathes, and grinders) to fabricate or modify die parts.Curriculum Completion: Actively participates in and completes the Tooling U-SME training curriculum, focusing on modules related to die design, materials, and machining.On-the-Job Training: Works under the guidance of Mentors and Engineers to perform precision bench work, including sharpening, shimming, and timing of die components.<...
