Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for a Water and Sewer Top Man supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Calgary area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the elevation and grade of all pipes being installed with either batter boards or builders’ level
• Cutting and beveling pipe
• Rigging all materials to be lowered into ditch
• Setting up track line
• Lining up service connection locations, CB’s, MH’s, etc.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members
• Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experienced as a top man in underground utilities...
