Job Description – TRACKING CLERK

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Receiving and dispatching containers plus daily raising and dispatching client reports.

Key Performance Areas Receiving containers into the ICR Cape Town facility in accordance with documented procedures and registering incoming containers in the TSD system. Compiling and sending daily tracking and stock reports to clients; exporting reports from the TSD system. Dispatching containers from ICR; capturing and editing releases on the TSD tracking system; ensuring all procedures are followed. Communicating with clients via email or telephone; supplying tracking department information; addressing client feedback during monthly meetings. Capturing container releases in the TSD system and ensuring accurate registration of releases. Identifying container types (Dry, Refrigerated, Open Top) and sizes (20 FT, 40 FT, 45 FT) based on ISO codes. Checking container status and reviewing historical records in the TSD system; unders...
