Description

The Licensed Tradesperson maintains, diagnoses, tests, and repairs material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes, rollers, drive unit, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventative / predictive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes, rollers, drive units, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to maintain equipment in a good state of repair in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair material handling equipment mechanical or electrical failures to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime and reduce downstream impact on service delivery.
