We are currently looking for a Transmission Line Engineer to support the delivery of overhead transmission line projects. The role is expected to be a trusted advisor for clients, attesting to technical skill and the ability to deliver on time and on budget. As appropriate, you will also mentor and develop other engineers to grow Jacobs’ offerings in your specialty.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the design of overhead transmission lines, including steel lattice towers and tubular pole structures.
• Assisting in key engineering analyses such as sag & tension calculations, conductor clearance assessments, and slack span analysis.
• Preparing preliminary designs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Utilizing tools such as PLS-CADD to develop and review transmission line designs.
