Position Overview

Main Duties & Responsibilities (not exhaustive):

  1. Preparation of Transport documentation
  2. Keeping accurate records of data required for reporting purposes.
  3. Administration of the movement of vehicles and associated activities.
  4. Obtain quotes and costs for all transport-based activities.
  5. Chasing POD’s and sending to customers.
  6. Chasing POC’s and sending to customers
  7. Responsible for booking all drivers / vehicles into the depot or customer locations.
  8. Issues correct paperwork and books out drivers from the transport department.
  9. Interaction with transport companies when conducting delivery failure investigations.
  10. Ensure compliance with all Company, statutory and Health and Safety obligations.
  11. Works closely with key operational partners including other departments, depots and customer locations.
  12. Other site administration as and when required.
