Purpose of the role

Develop and lead the Upstream Logistics operation to deliver on its strategy and targets for service, capacity, cost, compliance and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain strategy

• Work with the Head of Supply Chain Operations to help define and implement the Phoebe Philo supply chain strategy, focusing on Upstream Logistics
• Continuously research and stay abreast of developments in the field of Upstream Logistics

Inbound logistics

• Manage shipments of samples (raw materials and product development), raw materials shipments and finished goods shipments
• Organise and follow all in-bound shipments by air, sea and road freight to ensure goods are promptly dispatched and tracked through to delivery into the DC
• Create quotations for import/export, consolidating shipments where possible to achieve best price and service
