We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic Transportation & Traffic Engineering department. This role involves developing comprehensive traffic engineering design packages and conducting in-depth traffic analysis to support local agencies.
Responsibilities

+ Develop traffic engineering design packages, including traffic signal plans, signing and striping plans, pavement marking plans, electrical plans, lighting plans, and maintenance and protection of traffic plans.

+ Perform capacity analysis, operational analysis, traffic forecasting, traffic data interpretation, and crash data analysis.

+ Conduct transportation simulation to evaluate and improve traffic flow.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in civil engineering, Microstation, Synchro, and AutoCad.

+ 2-3 years of experience in traffic/transportation projects, including work with NJDOT and NYDOT.
