Job Details
Operate CT equipment (CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, Patient monitoring devices) to acquire diagnostic images for physician use in diagnosis and treatment.
Float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with Brigham & Women's Hospital as needed.
Prepare, position, immobilize patients and use protective shielding as needed during imaging.
Select proper imaging factors and image designated body portions.
Explain exams to patients considering physical and emotional needs; maintain ethical standards including patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
Deliver patient care under scope of license/training.
Maintain effective communication with departmental and hospital personnel.
Calibrate and verify operation of equipment daily; notify appropriate personnel of malfunctio...
